Drinking plenty of is important, but did you know that there are both health and beauty benefits to drinking water? At least eight glasses of water per day will keep both your body and your skin healthy.

  1. Flushes out toxins – Drinking water aids the process of flushing out any toxins that may be in your body. It also promotes kidney functions.
  2. Maintains moisture – Hydration is vital to keep not only your body nourished but also to hydrate your skin. Water also provides nutrients to the skin.
  3. Combats skin irritations – Drinking plenty of water will allow your skin to combat skin diseases such as eczema. It also helps prevent wrinkles in the long run.
  4. Hair growth – Water facilitates vitamin consumption and increases the rate at which your hair grows. If you are trying to grow out your hair, make sure you drink plenty of water throughout the day.
  5. Increases energy – Dehydration tends to cause fatigue, so drinking enough water will allow your body to regain energy.
